Maternal & Child Care Outreach at Federal Medical Center Lagos

The Maternal and Child Care outreach was organized to provide practical support to new mothers during one of the most sensitive stages after childbirth. Postpartum recovery can be physically and emotionally demanding, and access to essential hygiene and baby-care items is critical for both mother and child.

Through collaboration with the healthcare professionals at Federal Medical Center Lagos, Alexaz Care Foundation identified mothers who would benefit most from this support. Many families face financial pressure immediately after childbirth, making it difficult to access basic maternal and newborn care supplies.

By distributing carefully assembled Alexaz Care Packages, the foundation aimed to promote safe postpartum practices, support maternal recovery, and contribute to the wellbeing of newborns during the early stages of life.
